Supporting the Language Research Center
Providing life-long support and stewardship for a resident colony of apes and monkeys is a serious commitment. Georgia State University and its Research Foundation continue to provide unwavering support for these animals and the LRC. Similarly, the faculty, staff and students at the LRC have dedicated their time, effort, and creativity to caring for these animals, ensuring that the quality and quantity of science produced justifies maintaining the animals, and writing grant proposals that compel funding agencies to invest in the research.
This work also benefits from the generosity of people like you who contribute to the lifetime care of these unique nonhuman primates, and who support the student and faculty research team, and who help to make this an exciting time of growth and progress at the center. The generosity of alumni and friends make it possible for us to address present needs and to plan for the future. Please read below to learn how you can help us build the future of the Language Research Center, the Psychology Department, the College of Arts and Sciences, and Georgia State University.
